your first visit
Your first visit to our office is a time for us to get to know you and determine what your main concerns are. At your first visit, you will be greeted by one of our staff members. Each of the following will take place:
Initial paperwork will be completed.
A 3 second x-ray using our icat 3-d imaging will be taken. These images provide Dr. Bailey with detailed analysis and the ability to see the entire picture to recommend the best treatment option for you.
A treatment coordinator will take records. These consist of pictures of you and your teeth for Dr. Bailey to evaluate during the exam.
Dr. Bailey will do an exam and evaluate many things relating to the face, the smile, the fit of the teeth and the amount of room for the teeth. Based off his diagnosis, treatment may be recommended.
A treatment coordinator will go over treatment fees according to your treatment recommendation. At this time we sit with you and discuss your insurance benefits as well as different payment options. This is a no pressure conversation and want you to make the best decision for you and your family.
If the patient’s mouth is still developing, now may not be the best time for treatment. We may recommend the patient be placed into an observation phase where we will follow their growth and development to determine the appropriate time for treatment. Complementary growth and development appointments occur every 6 months.
